Mexico records 9 holidays in 2025. 7 are nationwide public holidays and 0 apply only in certain regions. Not one public holiday lands on a weekend in 2025 — every single one falls on a working day. Día del Trabajo (1 May 2025), Día de la Independencia (16 Sep 2025) and Navidad (25 Dec 2025) sit on a Tuesday or Thursday: book the Mondays and Fridays and each becomes a four-day break. The longest run without one is 138 days, between 1 May 2025 and 16 Sep 2025. The last was Navidad on 25 Dec 2025.
