Days Off Atlas is a free, ad-supported website that lists public, bank and school holidays for more than 190 countries. You don't need an account to use the site and we don't ask you for your name, email or any personal details. This policy explains what little data is collected automatically, how advertising works, and your choices.

Advertising and cookies

The site is free because it shows ads. We use third-party advertising partners, including Google AdSense, who may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your past visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners show you ads based on your visit to our site and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.

What we collect

Very little. When you browse the site, our servers and hosting provider automatically record standard request logs (page requested, date and time, browser type, and an approximate region derived from your IP address). We use these logs only to keep the site running, fix errors, and understand rough traffic volume. We don't link this data to your identity and we don't sell it. The holiday data shown on the site comes from the open Nager.Date public API and our own editorial research — none of it is tied to you personally.

Third-party links and services

Country pages link to official government sources for school term dates and regional holidays. Clicking an external link takes you to a site we don't control, with its own privacy policy. Our ad partners and analytics providers also have their own privacy policies, linked from their sites.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect any data from them. School-holiday pages are written for adults planning family schedules, not for children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site grows or as advertising partners change. We'll keep the 'last updated' date current. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised policy.
