Working days in South Korea, 2025

Every weekday of 2025 minus the nationwide public holidays that land on one. Holidays falling on a Saturday or Sunday are not counted, because in most countries they are simply lost.

How we count this

We start with every Monday-to-Friday date in 2025 and subtract each nationwide public holiday in South Korea that lands on one of those days. Saturdays and Sundays are never counted as working days.

No nationwide holiday falls on a weekend this year, so every one of them reduces the total.

We don't subtract regional holidays, bank-only days or company shutdowns, because they don't apply to the whole country. July has the most working days (23) and October the fewest (18).

Regional holidays are excluded — they only apply in some areas. Check the 2025 calendar for those.
