How we count this
We start with every Monday-to-Friday date in 2028 and subtract each nationwide public holiday in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines that lands on one of those days. Saturdays and Sundays are never counted as working days.
2 holidays (New Year's Day and Emancipation Day) fall on a weekend this year, so they don't reduce the total. Where the government moves a holiday to a weekday, that substitute day appears in the data and is subtracted.
We don't subtract regional holidays, bank-only days or company shutdowns, because they don't apply to the whole country. August has the most working days (23) and April the fewest (18).
