Working days in Saint Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha, 2026
Every weekday of 2026 minus the nationwide public holidays that land on one. Holidays falling on a Saturday or Sunday are not counted, because in most countries they are simply lost.

How we count this
We start with every Monday-to-Friday date in 2026 and subtract each nationwide public holiday in Saint Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha that lands on one of those days. Saturdays and Sundays are never counted as working days.
1 holiday (Boxing Day) falls on a weekend this year, so it doesn't reduce the total. Where the government moves a holiday to a weekday, that substitute day appears in the data and is subtracted.
We don't subtract the 3 regional or local holidays, bank-only days or company shutdowns, because they don't apply to the whole country. July has the most working days (23) and May the fewest (19).
Regional holidays are excluded — they only apply in some areas. Check the 2026 calendar for those.
