Bridge day check
Falls on a Thursday. Book the Friday off and you get a four-day weekend — the classic bridge day.
Book off 27 Nov 2026 for 4 days off.
What the day is for
Officially recognised as a public holiday, so most people have the day off work.
Do shops and banks close?
Expect offices, banks and the majority of shops to be closed.
Getting around
Public transport usually runs a Sunday or holiday timetable.
These notes come from the day's official classification rather than country-specific reporting, so treat them as general guidance for Puerto Rico.
When it falls each year
