Naadam Holiday
Wednesday, 15 Jul 2026 · Mongolia · Nationwide · Public holiday
Bridge day check
Falls midweek on a Wednesday. It splits the week rather than extending the weekend, so bridging costs two days of leave either side.
What the day is for
Officially recognised as a public holiday, so most people have the day off work.
Do shops and banks close?
Expect offices, banks and the majority of shops to be closed.
Getting around
Public transport usually runs a Sunday or holiday timetable.
These notes come from the day's official classification rather than country-specific reporting, so treat them as general guidance for Mongolia.
When it falls each year
Floating holidays shift; fixed ones move only in which weekday they land on.
