Saint George's Day
Wednesday, 6 May 2026 · Bulgaria · Nationwide · Public holiday
Bridge day check

Do shops and banks close?
Public holiday; banks and offices close.
Getting around
Road closures around central Sofia for the parade.
When it falls each year
Floating holidays shift; fixed ones move only in which weekday they land on.
