Mary Prince Day
Friday, 31 Jul 2026 · Bermuda · Nationwide · Public holiday
Bridge day check
Falls on a Friday, so it makes a three-day weekend with no leave needed.
What the day is for
Officially recognised as a public holiday, so most people have the day off work.
Do shops and banks close?
Expect offices, banks and the majority of shops to be closed.
Getting around
Public transport usually runs a Sunday or holiday timetable.
These notes come from the day's official classification rather than country-specific reporting, so treat them as general guidance for Bermuda.
